I died to the pursuit of worldly pleasure but found new life in the victory of the empty tomb. it took death to show me what life is in Christ. it took being crushed and being beaten to a pulp to know the cost of a redeemed life. for some it takes death to begin to truly live, sacrificing your passions and to be left only with Christ. to lose all but gain Christ. this is life and life indeed. to lose all and every bit of oneself that runs contrary to Christ Our God and our King, to truly know him as Lord and as Savior even when we lose everything. when all of it is Stripped Away, Jesus Christ remains. yes,only Christ remains.
