As the rainbow bleeds

in a winter freeze.

there is no peace

on these streets of Misery.

but a memory of a history

where our worst dreams seem

to be a new reality,

doomed to repeat a duality

where animosity and hostility

feed the beast in a feast

where the Nazis savagely

seek out the least of these

like the weak and the meek

as a prey between their teeth.
