For the first three months of a woman’s pregnancy, most people (quite often, even the mother herself) don’t yet know it’s happening. What is going on on the inside isn’t yet signaled by much in the way of changes on the outside.

That is also true of personal and societal change. It’s much like the Angel Gabriel saying to Mary, “Tell no one.” There’s something about the most stupendous changes in life that are presaged not by roaring trumpets but by silence. Conception, whether it be in a womb or in society, is hidden from the naked eye.

So it is that in America today, while externally the most dramatic changes are underway, beneath the surface there is something equally dramatic occurring. And it's not because trump has been indicted. It's because if he can be indicted anyone can.

they could come for you and me in the same manner especially if you disagree with this nearly tyrannical government. Tyranny does not come in its fullness overnight, but the fall of America had begun for quite some years now.

America is a shell of itself of the greatness that it used to be.

For a people who has rejected the Lord a long time ago.

Today, there seems to be a dire need of many in the church to engage and mobilize to the voting booth with great passion. while the reasons and issues differ, to a great degree. I see some doing so in concern with traditional family values and these views they base on the scripturses? I observe some are so impassioned for pro-life and the sanctity of marriage that the other social and moral issues may be left to hindsight and to the peril of the totality of our overall community needs. even so, some in the church put politics and governing philosophy and political party before the gospel of Jesus Christ, the great commission and before the kingdom of god. I have been guilty in the past of doing all three. but now when I look at the compatibility of either of the 2 parties with gods word, I find both party platforms…

The Cross is where the Great Crossroads

of human life and the Divine intersect.

where the forces of evil appeared to be Victorious

with the Dead Christ nailed to it.

Though the twist was not that the dead Christ Rose,

we all want peace. peace in the world, peace in our lives and peace within.

and we think we can somehow achieve and attain this peace on our own,

in our own efforts, in our own ability, and even by our own strength.

and even by our own wisdom or even our own experience.

by our own mistakes, we think we will learn and see the light to the road of peace

but even then peace eludes us because it is not something we find on a journey

While I have pondered doing this for quite some time. On a number of occasions I have come close to dealing with this matter, but i was too emotionally attached to seriously taking the steps to eradicating these unhealthy habits and behavior for any real effective change. The Only thing is, changing would not be the cure. While it is good to change for the better, in this matter, the reason for the issue had more to do with a matter of the heart.

a heart becoming more callous, more rigid, indifferent and tainted by the ills of the world. Seeing everything through a political scope, where there seems to be no hope?

For a christian? Allowing politics to have such sway? Choosing a side politically despite obvious reasons that you shouldn't?
