Prayer September 14, 2020
Here I Am Lord,
lifting this prayer to you,
kneeling before your throne.
in these volatile times, where intense spiritual warfare is necessary in this field of battle.
we have seen reason thrown to the Winds of stirring rage and anger, and the abandonment of rational thought has brought us to near chaos and Anarchy. where many cities still have unrest as a result of a long-overdue Justice for our black brothers and sisters.
Lord there are good police and we are thankful for their service to keep our communities safe, but Lord, there are those officers who step over the line of ethical practices to an outright abuse of power and an inhumane treatment of black men and women across the cities of our nation that has been brought low.
And even still we see another injustice, where many cities are left in the wake of Destruction from looting, to destroying property and lives, senseless violence and riots that leave long lasting scars.
Lord America is hurting and only by turning to you Lord, in Repentance, can there be healing, can there be reconciliation, can there be forgiveness.
these things will not come by an election in November but by those who turn to the Lord Christ Jesus as Savior, being made a new creation in him, whom he has chosen as the very elect of God, to be ambassadors of God's Kingdom to this Dying World.
from a Dying World, where you hear it in the Chant "no justice no peace!!" But in the silence, God's cry can be heard from heaven, "Justice for the oppressed", "Justice for the mistreated", "Justice for the fatherless" "Justice for those who are systemically left behind." and As Cities continue to burn with fire, the Holy Spirit Whispers and he can be heard,
"Know Jesus, know peace."
