It’s as if she appeared out of the sand, like a phantom menace — so young, undeveloped, with measurements that would peak in the years to come.
Born in the days of my childhood, and now a delight to my aged eyes,
this curious youngling whose image was of innocence — playing a dual role, acting as a decoy and a Queen — while my heart would be captivated by this starlet on the screen.
From Where the Heart Is to If We Could Only Be Closer.
To a death at birth and the rise of a revolution,to a ballerina’s fall from grace into a hybrid through annihilation.
Still the Ring burns in the chasm.
This passion burns all that’s around me.
My love is enveloped in sulfur.
Distant though it may be,
Closer still,
to attain that which seems out of reach.
Yet she comes again in my dream.
