“So, I heard it: Be thou faithful unto death. And my walk — it changed. Each step with purpose, each movement with intention, each thought and meditation what God speaks in His Word, from His Spirit to mine. It is indwelling with His Holy Spirit, baptized with fire to live, move, and have my being through the Spirit of the Living God of the universe — refined through the purging fires of alchemical stages, redeemed and highly favored.
Walking a trodden path with tired feet and an aching body — not to make it seem as if all of this is easy, but at the same time, because the Lord my God is with me, I am sustained. I am kept. I am guarded. I am led. Not perfectly do I walk, but I walk with Jesus.
And in this walk, there’s a certain rhythm to this walk — a certain stride. And it may look like every other walk, but within yourself you know the footsteps are right. You know the path you walk upon is the Lord’s. To knowingly walk in tune with the Divine Rhythm within is a blessing in and of itself, but it’s due to your own awareness and the practice of being conscious of not only God’s omnipresence, but a sharpened awareness of the Lord’s manifest presence throughout our daily lives.
A life lived as a sacrifice — but not unto oneself; rather, in the giving of oneself to the One who gave the life. Which means to die a daily death, leading you into the fullness of the resurrection, taking on the very likeness of the risen Christ, being led into the called life of divine purpose — to be the embodiment of a walking testimony to a dying world, where the truth of the Word of God transcends the delusion of a lie, where the mystery of obscurity turns to the revelation of reality, and the promise of eternal security is found in the realization of collective redemption when He appears for all to see.
And the veil is pulled back from hindering their sight, and sin is exposed before them all, where not one knee will remain upright. Every face will meet the dust with tears, and when heads raise, sight will be restored. Songs of reverence will fill the atmosphere from mountaintop to mountaintop. A divine glow will envelop the Righteous King — the Christ — as the praises of the people echo throughout the land, praising the name of Jesus as it reverberates throughout all creation.
After this, I laid down in reflection as I wandered into a dream… or was it a vision? Am I still there? Wherever I may be, the Lord is here.”
