From the Depths to the Dawn written by Michael A Gomez April 17th, 2026

Sinking into this ocean of wisdom,

and this is not a drowning,

this is immersion.

This is where my pain and suffering

encounter the transformative power

of compassion,

and coming out from these Waters

it is impossible

to be the same.

Where those wounds of old

are the very place

that your life

is transformed.

Walking along these Golden Shores

as I look out

into those Waters

that baptized me

into who I am,

and that's the complete fullness

and wholeness

of who I am.

Where I no longer carry

that pain and suffering

on a conscious level,

but perhaps

a subconscious one.

As I reflect,

walking upon these Golden Shores,

I look down

into the water

that gently flows

over my feet.

I see into the reflection

that was.

I see the events

that left the scars

that are still on me,

the sacred reminders

of where I am now

more than where I had come from.

Why where I am now?

Because that's where

my focus should be —

on here

and now,

this very moment,

standing on these Golden Shores

and looking out

and returning

to my breath.

There's never been

such an inner peace,

such a Moment

of clarity,

as I look out

from these Golden Shores

and see

the dawn

of a new day.

And in this new day

it's not just about

that I was healed,

but the rising

of a compassionate Heart,

and to be

a being

of loving kindness.

These Golden Shores

speak this truth

to me.
