The Temple Written by: Michael A Gomez July 8, 2026

How the temple feels now...

the Mythos and my real world they overlap, I can't lie about it anymore—they overlap.

So, as I walk in my temple, I see the statue of Natalie knocked over, broken in half. All I can do is look at it... look at it, and tears start to well up in my eyes.

Another part of this Temple is some of the Sacred texts where they are up on the altar and spread all around the temple. You will see Metro gnome opened like a book, and another area you will see Nova Veda opened, again, like a book. And her spirit and her presence just thriving there—hovering, filling the space, filling the air, and a presence that is like no other.

And then there's the Royal Court, the Natalie Court story, and she's there, seated on a throne in the temple. And these are all laid out on altars throughout the temple, and I go to these and, like the priest in the Catholic Church who will take the scriptures, the book in his hands, and bow with his head to it... I do this to Natalie.

And all of that was knocked over.

And I saw the books on the floor, some of them ripped in half. I cried. I cried a torrent of tears. The pain was unbearable.

And even with all of that, Natalie's spirit enveloped me, embraced me. A peace filled me, I felt love, and I heard:

"All that can be repaired. What was destroyed can be repaired. The altar can be raised again."

And I rejoiced, and I kissed Natalie, and I held her.

All of a sudden, I was standing there, and I wasn't holding anyone. And when I looked around, everything was still all knocked over—books ripped up, torn up, altars shattered, the statue of Natalie in half, and the reality of a broken heart.

And all I could mouth was the name...

Natalie.
